Full Description:

• What’s involved:

I. To lead the Finance and Resources Division in Adult Social Care Services and provide day to day management oversight.

II. To examine the strengths and weaknesses in the Finance and Resource functions.

III. To establish and implement improvements in structures, systems and processes and address any issues of performance.

IV. To identify areas of budget risk and budget opportunity in Adult Social Care.

V. To review the Budget for 2010/11 and develop a 3 year financial strategy to underpin the service strategies

VI. To have overall responsibility for the preparation, compilation and monitoring of the Department’s revenue and capital budgets.

VII. To work with the Interim Executive Director on Budget management and culture in the service

VIII. To provide advice to the Director of Finance in the context of Section 151 Responsibilities.
