• What’s involved:

The post is responsible for ensuring financial and best value compliance for the Authority in all transactions relating to the care and support of children and families with whom the Authority is engaged.

The post is responsible for ensuring compliance with Financial Regulations and obtaining approval for all expenditure; and to oversee the achievement of income through the Charging Policy.

The post is also responsible for the production of regular management information and statistical reporting.

- minimum of 2 years financial/accountancy administration experience within a local authority setting
- Enhanced CRB check in place or pending (we can handle the latter for you)
- Experience of staff supervision and performance management
- MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
