Job Description
PMO support required for this large Retail Bank based in London. The PMO Support will be working within the Group Operations area as part of an Integration Programme
Purpose of the Project
Design, development and implementation of programme to divest appropriate parts of the Retail (and associated Commercial) businesses as part of the Banks commitments to HM Treasury and European Union Commision as per November 2009.
Purpose of the role
To support PMO Lead/Programme Director in management of the programme\'s Operations PMO; Programme planning, RAIDs, status reporting; and co-ordination of various Workstreams PMOs.
Key Accountabilities/Deliverables
Support PMO Lead/Programme Director in governance & control and assurance of overall programme delivery.
- Ensure programme level governance & control requirements (ie core risks, issues & dependencies; aggregated planning; budget management; etc) are captured on Change Management Toolkit and produce status reports as appropriate. [Take lead role in setting up and managing Central PMO Change Management Toolkit.)
- Ensure core Central PMO/programme documentation is stored/kept update on Sharepoint. [Take lead role in setting up and managing Central PMO Sharepoint site.)
- Liaise with various programme workstreams (PMOs and Programme Directors, Managers, teams) to ensure they are in line with overall programme governance & control requirements; planning; key deliverables
- Supporting preparation and development of various key documents for Programme Board, Steering Committee, GEC
- Lead PMO assignments as requested by PMO Lead/Programme Director.
Core Skills and Experience
- 2-3 years experience in large-scale, group-wide, complex, transformational change management.
- Specific PMO experience - ideally in playing an active role in supporting the mobilisation/establishing PMOs and day-to-day management of core PMO responsibilities.
- Strong financial/budget management, programme planning, status reporting, RAIDs identification & management skills.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Strong stakeholder & relationship management skills (ideally across senior level within financial services).
- Previous experience in integration and divestment/carve out projects & programmes.
Other Information
- Ideally London based - with willingness for some UK travel and comfortable/flexible working outside a rigid 9-5 pattern.
