Manager Client Services Packaging Horsham West Sussex Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 + benefits

Our client is the worlds leading clinical supply chain management organisation. As part of a Fortune 300 company, they have facilities worldwide, enabling the production and distribution of medication used in clinical trials. The company’s site in Horsham, West Sussex employs over 400 people in the areas of project management, production and distribution GMP operations and Quality.

Due to continued planned expansion and ongoing success our client is seeking a Manager Client Services Packaging.

Manager Client Services Packaging - Role

The Manager Client Services Packaging role will be to manage and control the work load of the department, defining success criteria. You will be managing a team of 5 Team Leaders and a team of 50. This is a Client Services Delivery role and will not involve sales.

Manager Client Services Packaging - Main focus of role

• Ensuring that the teams are briefed and fully equipped to meet company KPI’s

• Producing monthly client reports

• Making formal presentations, including presenting strategic proposals

• In line with company procedures to recruit, train and develop staff ensuring that resource levels meet business plan requirements

• Establishes, delegates and monitors departmental projects, objectives and initiatives

• Develop the sections business plan and to work to manage the control spend and maximise revenue

Manager Client Services Packaging - Experience / skills for this role

• Relevant experience of clinical trial packaging would be beneficial but not essential

• Strong line management experience, must demonstrate that you have managed a successful team achieve business objectives

• Able to prioritise teams workload and to ensure others meet timescales

• Able to analyse problems and define solutions

• Ability to influence others to achieve objectives

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Able to work under pressure and to support others within the team

• Flexible and adaptable with strong customer management skills

• Capable of contributing to the section management team and of championing business improvement possibly in the face of resistance
