Job Description
Our client is part of Britain\'s leading provider of independent healthcare with nearly sixty hospitals nationwide performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. Their commitment is to quality and professionalism, providing facilities for advanced surgical procedures together with friendly professional care. They are looking to recruit the following key members of staff: THEATRE MANAGERSYou will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a UK theatre, with NMC or HPC registration, be competent across a range of clinical skills as well as further qualifications that support your development. Experience in teaching and assessing, budgetary control and HR management are essential together with a working knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies, such as the Care Quality commission.You will work closely with the Director of Nursing undertaking the management and organisation of the Operating Department whilst providing appropriate clinical and managerial leadership within your team.You will assist and monitor the delivery of patient care, encourage, develop and enhance the skills of those around you. You will also undertake departmental HR duties and work to achieve budgets and specific key performance indicators.
