Job Description

Eden Medical Recruitment are currently seeking experienced nurses who have previously worked on short stay units / wards for positions based in a private, acute hospital in LondonHours of Work: 3 long days per week 07.00 - 20.30. Occasionally on some Mondays starting time is at 06.00am and occasionally on a Tuesday there is a twilight shift to be covered which is 10.00am - 23.00pm. There is also a very small amount of internal rotation onto night duty to be covered so about every 5 weeks they will also do 3 night shifts.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Registered Nurse Level 1DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: ENB 998 or equivalentJOB SUMMARY1.Participate and contribute in the direct delivery of patient care to include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual programmes of care.2.Effectively communicate and co-operate with all Wards and Departments within the hospital.JOB ROLEProfessional1.To be aware of and comply with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and EC directives.2.To be aware of and comply with the hospital\'s policies and procedures.3.To be aware of current trends and developments maintaining professional awareness of new procedures and terminology.4.To liaise and co-operate with all other wards, departments and personnel.5.To assist in the orientation of new members of staff.6.To participate in designated Committees/Working Parties within the hospital as required.Clinical1.To assess patient\'s needs and develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care, maintaining a high standard of care and professional conduct at all times.2.To carry out nursing and medical instructions competently and promptly.3.To maintain professional confidentiality and ensure colleagues understand the relevance of this.4.To inform the Nurse in Charge when changes occur with patient care.5.To provide safe, evidence based practice at all times.6.To ensure that all clinical and legal documents are completed accurately and legibly.7.To keep up to date with Consultants\' Guidelines/preferences and follow instructions given.If interested in these exciting positions then please email a copy of your current c.v. to Oliver
