Job Description
Pensions Administrator, London,Salary dependant on experience
This well known Pension Consultancy has an opportunity for a pensions administrator looking for the next step in their career within the pensions industry. You'll have previous experience administering DB or DC pension schemes and be fully exposed to all types of pension calculations.
This organisation will fully support you through your industry exams and develop you as an individual. excellent organisation and communication skills and have a good level of education.
Responsibilities
Responsible for updating data bases
Logging and distribution of post
Running system calculations
Manual benefits calculations
Production of letters
Responsible for commencing and completing projects in line with project plans
Monitoring on going procedural developments
Responsible for 1st level checking of work
Responsible for training and development of junior members of the team
Responsible for ad hoc projects
Technical Knowledge
Must have a good understanding of DB & DC schemes, including leavers and joiners, transfer in and out, benefit statements and renewals and increases
Must have a good understanding of current legislation
Experience of managing and mentoring junior members
Third party pension administration
Educated to A level standard
Ideally a holder of PMI or studying towards
