Job Description

A Senior Mechanic / Vehicle Technician is sought to join this company in Warren Street, London.

Our client is the market leader in moving people and parcels in and around London. They are Europe’s largest supplier of private hire services with over 12,000 registered clients across multiple industry sectors.

TITLE: Senior Mechanic / Vehicle Technician LOCATION: Warren Street, London SALARY: £25,000 - £27,000 TERMS: Full-time; Monday – Friday 9.00am – 6.00pm. NO WEEKEND WORK BENEFITS: Great benefits available after qualifying period

They are now looking for a Senior Mechanic / Vehicle Technician, to work at a senior level to assist in the maintenance of their fleet of vehicles (mainly Ford and VW). They are seeking a Senior Mechanic / Vehicle Technician whose expertise lies in electrical diagnosis and fault finding. The ideal Senior Mechanic / Vehicle Technician will possess:

• €¢ In depth knowledge of vehicles and experience in vehicle warranty is absolutely paramount

• €¢ Demonstrable senior electrical and mechanical experience

• €¢ Excellent communication skills, administrative skills and high computer literacy

• €¢ Proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor members of the department

• €¢ Attention to detail

• €¢ Time-management and organisation skills

• €¢ The ability to multi-task

• €¢ A full, clean driving licence is also necessary.

A good personality is also key to this Senior Mechanic / Vehicle Technician position, as our client is seeking an individual who is professional, approachable, friendly, positive and diplomatic. To succeed in this role as a Senior Mechanic / Vehicle Technician you will be expected to:

• €¢ Diagnose electrical faults

• €¢ Perform vehicle maintenance and vehicle servicing

• €¢ Fault-find

• €¢ Carry out warranty work

• €¢ Train junior staff members

• €¢ Undertake any other duties required by management
