About Us

Our world-renowned state-of-the-art practice in Eashing, Surrey is a result of a decade of dedication by Noel Fitzpatrick to create an unparalleled centre of expertise in small-animal neuro-orthopaedics for the South East of England.It is located in a idyllic, rural location with an intrinsic air of tranquility which often helps to ameliorate the difficult emotions associated with caring for sick or injured animals.

Our aspirations are to care for all animals with a passion transcending financial concerns or the time dedicated to achieving the gold standard of care, to respect all sentient creatures, to marry compassion and science and to do our best for each and every animal by pushing the boundaries of possiblility and surgical endeavour for the betterment of both animals and humans. We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year providing a superlative level of care for our patients, our clients and our referring clinicians.

The centre currently has 3 senior surgeons, 2 surgical residents and 5 interns. We have a radiographer, 2 chartered animal physiotherapists,30 nurses and kennel assistants all specifically trained for the surgical and medical care of severely ill, traumatised and debilitated patients. We also have a team of 12 support personnel to ensure that we provide an unparalleled level of service.

We are proud to be the only veterinary centre in the UK to have the Siemens 1.5T MAGNETOM Symphony MRI scanner available 7 days a week for patients. This gives our referring clinicians unprecedented access to high quality diagnostic imaging and a rapid response team for emergencies. We also have an Eklin direct digital radiography system, allowing us to diagnose quickly and accurately within a matter of seconds.

We are also very proud to be able to announce the arrival of our new Siemens Somatom Emotion CT scanner - which will provide us with extremely clear images in a short scan time allowing us to use sedation rather than general anaesthesia. It will enable us to view, for example, fractures, complex joint disorders, limb deformities and bone-invading cancers in three dimensions.

Our clinic also provides the most advanced rehabilitation facilities for small animal neuro-orthopaedics in the UK. We have a physiotherapy arena and large hydrotherapy pool believing emphatically that good rehabilitation is integral to the success of orthopaedic and neuro-surgical intervention, promoting increased mobility, reducing pain, inflammation and recovery time.

We have twice in three years been awarded the “Best Clinical Research of the Year” accolade by the American Veterinary Orthopaedic Society and in 2006 won the “Best Scientific Paper” accolade. We intend to keep our practice at the forefront of clinical and surgical acumen with a dedicated programme of training and association with universities both in the UK and the USA. Noel has recently been awarded the position of assistant professor at the University of Florida School of Veterinary Medicine in recognition of his contributions to science and teaching.
